The cost of this edition was $3 more with the wireless guitar (Dec 2008), what a deal.The guitar is still the same plastic guitar from the other games, but has an Aerosmith faceplate on it and includes some more stickers. They enjoyed watching the behind the scenes takes on how the band came to be so famous.
It is the music that they focus on while trying to strum the notes. Some of the lyrics are a bit racy for their age group, but you can't hear them most of the time.
My kids and I got Guitar Hero III for Christmas and pretty much instantly wanted a second guitar to play together. You can still do single songs you have unlocked together, but there is no career coop, too bad.My kids have a vague notion of who Aerosmith is from the Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney World.
This was a great way to get a second guitar and another game to play at the same time.
My kids are 8 and 10 and they can play the guitar on easy mode.We enjoy playing career coop on GH III and that is sadly missing in this edition.
We have spent many hours playing the game so far and the guitar is great. The price was great for the wireless guitar and game. Shipping was fast and everything looked great.
I really was disappointed overall. Every other guitar hero has been good but this one. Don't get me wrong, I do like aerosmith but this is one game that just got boring so fast I couldn't see straight. It was too easy of a game to beat and the songs just really didn't appease me.
I only with that there would have been more songs. Gameplay is great. Music is great. Do yourself a favor and buy the bundle. Overall great game. This game is a must for Aerosmith fans. The Aerosmith guitar is worth it. The interview clips with the band before every stage is pretty cool.
game is good, I like it and I still play after finishing the story modethings I don't like- Downloadable Content (DLC) not compatible with Guitar Hero 3- Les Paul Wireless faceplate with Aerosmith logo, which is the only reason I got the bundle, scratches off and I use my nails short, just by regular usage, it's losing it's cool red paint, could've invested on red plastic instead of painting white plastic red- Popular recent songs from Aerosmith are not there (Crazy, Falling in Love) and they don't have announced any DLC for this game yet
